New RR to start!

Edgar let me in on his Quaker Friendship RR! I'm excited to say I've ordered my pattern, need to decide what color of floss I want to use. I'm thinking of using silks! Edgar says they stitch wonderfully.

I plan to have a easy weekend, I want to stitch on HFFRR. I'd like to start on Tea Time Exchange also, can't though until my pattern comes from Stitching Bits and Bobs. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't gotten here yet, normally I get stuff from them quickly, it's been almost 2 weeks, I'm starting to worry.

Here's my progress on Janice's rr.
The heart thread keeper we made for my SBBC partner! I wanted to show everyone the little heart John made for me to give away!
Well, John's got a fire for me tonight, so I'm gonna curl up on the couch and relax with my stitching!

Looks like we are both in Edgar's RR - I am so looking forward to it. I will be using Vicki Clayton silks and, as I ordered 3 colours for the Hannah Beeby SAL (I could not make up my mind), I will have some for the RR too!
What a gorgeous heart thread keeper - John is very talented. He should make more to sell - I would certainly buy one - or maybe 2 or 3 :-)

What a pretty thread keeper, and your RR is looking lovely too. I haven't done anything large with silks, but have really liked how they look on small ones. I think you'll really enjoy using them.

So sorry to hear about your coworker. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers. Also, your pastry desert looked and sounded really yummy. I hardly ever bake/cook anymore, but that sure looked tempting.

Donna, that thread keeper is amazing! Someone is going to be very lucky to receive it :-)

Hey Donna - for the QFRR I figured out for 32ct linen - a 13 x 12 piece would be sufficient. The stitch count is 209x152. I ordered three different quarters (fog, legacy and heritage) from PTP and I am waiting for my silk from HDF to arrive - my decisions are on hold until these suckers arrive. :)
