Monday dawns a new day...........

Just to show you that people still care. Y'all know about the flower turmoil, well, the funeral attendant at Tommy Wages is the best. She knew about the mix up and to make me feel better this is what she did. I didn't realize it until we were walking in following the casket. She had my spray right up front and she had it worked out where my flowers were at the head of Uncle Charles's casket. I was so totally blown away that she took my flowers and placed them right by Uncle Charles. That gesture was so special to me and after the funeral, I had to let her know how much that meant to me. She was so humble and said I just wanted things to be special for you. Now friends, that's someone who I want to be like! We always use Tommy Wages, they are the best!

Here's a picture of Jacob and I at the end of band camp. Everyone had a great time and I love this picture of us together.

Has anyone received their Just CrossStitch Halloween issue? I haven't, and I'm chomping at the bit to get it. I also can't wait till the new Blackbird Design Halloween stockings booklet comes out.

Well, hopefully I'll get my 2 exchanges sent this week. Stitching has been completed, just need to assemble. I have the material already picked, so I'm happy about that part. Don't you just hate it when you can't find the perfect piece of fabric for your pinkeepe, pillow, etc.

Hope everyone has a great night!

Hugs,

DaisyGirl

People are amazing! Just when you think there's no hope for humanity, you are reminded that there are still so many people out in the world who care.

I tdefinately sounds like Monday did dawn a new a hopeful day for you. It was great the funeral attendant put your flowers right near your uncle. There are alot of good people still left in the world. Sometimes you just have to look for them.

As for the spray that the florist sent not being the right one, I would definately call them and tell them that you spent alot of money and did not get what you paid for. Maybe they will find a way to make it right.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. How kind the attendant was, those little gestures are just what we need sometimes to help us through a day.
