She wasn't in a hurry to drive, and with us only having one car, she wouldn't have been able to drive much anyway. She was able to be a bit older and more responsible, and we didn't have to pay higher insurance rates when she would hardly ever have been able to drive. Worked out great, she's 26 and never been in an accident yet.
Suestitcherwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11795367484568298951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264650177292250834.post-74908977712244859822009-12-03T19:27:00.601-05:002009-12-03T19:27:00.601-05:00Congratulations to Jason and kudos for you. There ...Congratulations to Jason and kudos for you. There seems so much pressure to allow kids to drive as soon as they are "of age". I remember that pressure - but since my birthday is in November and it is snowy in MN at that time, my parents made me wait until spring...and it was hard to be the "only one" without a license. But I am thankful that they did because I had some friends who got into bad accidents during their first winter.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11281836434713711420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264650177292250834.post-37561882219199763642009-12-03T11:44:56.914-05:002009-12-03T11:44:56.914-05:00Congratulations to Jason!Congratulations to Jason!Carol Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10444503481095836578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264650177292250834.post-1144847287996592832009-12-02T23:25:00.403-05:002009-12-02T23:25:00.403-05:00Congratulations Jason!

I am proof of that one as I am 38 and getting ready to take my driving test for the first time. Although, I had reasons for waiting so long... my 2 oldest kids are telling me to hurry up because mom has made a request of them... no one gets their license before mom... they can get permits just not licenses... they are understanding about it. Thank God.

Again, Congrats to Jason!GoldenAngelsWorkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15170330335953656756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264650177292250834.post-35792176574361516432009-12-02T23:15:38.819-05:002009-12-02T23:15:38.819-05:00Congrats to Jason! I think there are too many 16 year old drivers out there who lack the maturity to understand the great responsibility of being behind the wheel.Kim Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15350618051065871443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264650177292250834.post-3211528368358349592009-12-02T23:05:52.206-05:002009-12-02T23:05:52.206-05:00I think it is great that he waited.
