Happy New's Year's Eve To Everyone!

Edited at 10:30pm: I am so upset at the moment, I figured, hey new year, new look, well, I screwed that up big time, somehow I lost all my widgets and info lists, can't find it, son can't find it either! So, I'm trying to remember all of my blogs that I regularly read. You know I cried for almost 15 minutes, Jacob finally was like, it's ok Mom, just do it again! So, my blog will be undergoing changes, I've changed it 3 times so far! Wish me luck!

One year ago tonight, I started my blog. I was encouraged by my boys to try something new and fun. Well, let me just say, I have loved every minute of blogging. I have met many new friends via the blogging community and world. I was so lonely for a cross stitch buddy, I was driving my own family crazy with show and tell, help me pick my next design. Needless to say, they were bored!

I don't think Becky remembers, but she was my very first reply. I am sorry to say that Becky will be away from the computer for awhile. I hope she returns! Her comment to me was wonderful and she got me started looking for groups to be involved in. I met Anna thru PS group and from there I have met tons of new friends, Vonna, Cheryl, Michelle, Marie, Edgar, Tanya, Lizzy, Leslye, Janice, Carol, Terry, oh my gosh, I can't even name them all.

I started my own round robin! Little House Needlework Rocks! Fair & Square is awesome, SBEBB was a dream come true to be in that group! Stitching Bloggers Birthday Group!

So to show my gratitude, I'm having a drawing. You must reply to this post only, I am gonna keep the drawing open till Jan.5th,2008. I will then draw 3 names and those lucky people will receive a stitched goody from me. I still have 2 pif's left to send out, so even if you are on my pif list, you can still put your name in the drawing! The designs will be Halloween related! I love Halloween, so drop by and sign up!

I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read my blog, reply to me, whatever you did, a big thank you goes out to all my friends. Bless you all in 2008!

It's Friday!

Thursday was spent returning stuff that didn't fit Jacob. He is very picky about what he wears! Worse than a girl I think. The whole time at the mall he would look at something, too fruity, too ugly, no way! I just ended up putting money on a Macy's gift card for the boy.
Next we went to the Honey Baked Ham store. Our favorite splurge after Christmas. Tim arrived back over at my house for another visit.
I finished my Fair & Square #4 exchange! Off to the post office later! I'm thinking I will skip #5 so I can have plenty of time to stitch for my SBBC partner. Want to make sure I'm not crunched for time.
Poor John is working 12 hour days this week, he was so tired last night.
I'm gonna have a important blog on Dec.31st! So stay tuned!
Well, signing off for now. All the boys are still sleeping and it's 11am here, they must have stayed up all night!

More pictures!

Whew! The aftermath of Joy!

I hope everyone has had a joyous and spirit filled holiday! We have been blessed again this year. We all enjoyed presents and lots of food! I know I cooked for 3 days straight. Tonight we are having cabbage and sausage. Yummy! A favorite at my house.

I had so many pictures, it was hard to choose which to put on my blog. Enjoy the ones I picked. At least mine is a sideways view and not too frightening! haha.

Today was spent cross stitching and resting. Tomorrow will be spent venturing out to the mall area! Ugh! I'll most likely be picking my nephew up too, I think he will spending afew more days with us.

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday to Jason!

18 years ago, I delivered my sweet baby boy Jason! Premature, but look at him now! Not so little now. Where did those years go? I am proud of you son for being such a caring son and even though you don't clean your room regularly, that's ok! I love you Jay buggy! Hope all your dreams come true!

Look at my nephew! Tim is home for leave for Christmas, I hope he doesn't get in trouble for me posting a picture of him, something about not having the beret on in the house. Please forgive me Army! I just got to show off my nephew.

I have been baking up a storm today. I'm making everyone in my family a goody can! I've decorated it up and filled it with treats. I made fudge, pumpkin bread, spicy oyster crackers, toffee popcorn, and that was just today's baking, tomorrow I will bake more!

I'm hoping everyone will have the best holiday ever. I am blessed to have family and friends worldwide that care about me! Thank you to all!

Merry Christmas to All!

Love,

What a Wonderful Holiday Party and Birthday for my Moma!

We had such a great time yesterday! 21 people! All family and friends! Got to meet Beverly, such a nice lady, you should see the earrings she made all the female members of the family! Hey, that's the easiest way to win our hearts. Jewelry!

My sister Judy is squealing with joy over the little crackers that she loves! And! My sister Judy gave me the pattern that I've wanted! VOHHR! Plus the linen to start! Thank you Judy!!!!!!

That's Abby with my Jacob! That's Bev with her son and Patrick, almost cut him out of the picture! Momma opening up birthday presents! Happy Day Momma!

I want to thank all my family who came and spent the day and evening with me! I am surrounded by your love and wouldn't want it any other way!

To answer who the designer was for my SBEBB ornie was, The Need'l Love Company Christmas Stocking Stuffers! So much fun to stitch! And no, putting the little stocking together wasn't hard, I used the sewing machine to sew the stocking together then hand sewed the lining and the stocking parts together. Easy!

Can't show what I'm stitching for Frosty Friends!

Have a great week everyone!

Thank you to Edgar for all my goodies you sent me! Love the mug! Candy is gone, thanks to my stomach and my boys! You are the best!

I can show pictures!

My SBEBB Christmas exchange partner received her goodies, so I can show ya'll what I stitched for Wendy. My son Jacob loved the train design. Hope she does too.

My hand is slowly trying to get better. Went yesterday and had another shot in my hand. My hand is hurting something fierce today. Wishing it would hurry and feel better.

We have our annual family Christmas party tomorrow. We are planning on having everyone over, I get to meet my brother's girlfriend. OOhhhhhhhhhhhh! I better behave! hahaha

Hoping everyone has a great weekend!

Wonderful Weekend!

Hi Everybody,

Hope everyone has had a decent work week. Mine was stressful, but at least it's the weekend. I've been stitching on a couple of projects, one sneak peek at one. A secret Santa mailed me some thread! Thank you Santa! Thank you Edgar for my card. I am so behind in that department! Mine will hopefully be mailed Monday.

I'm glad to hear Cheryl got my RR safety! It's always a worry when I mail. Haven't heard yet if my SBEBB partner has received her exchange. So hoping she gets it soon.

That stupid hand of mine, I thought it was better, I was wrong. It has frozen up twice this week. I have even slowed down my stitching, but in the morning time is the worst. The doctor wants me to wear a splint at night to help keep my hand straight instead of curling up in a fist. So we will wait and see how that does. You know the doctor told me the trigger finger thing was a fluke and wouldn't happen again, man, he sure flunked medical school. hahaha

I'm gonna try to finish my Christmas shopping today with my brother. We are going to the mall.

See ya later!

Been working on a couple projects, as soon as I hear that my exchange partner receives her goody package, I'll post a picture!
Thank you to Edgar for hosting the 2008 SBBC! What a super guy he is!
I'll post more tomorrow, I'm still so tired, the bed is calling me, don't know if I'll be able to stay up to see the new show Tin Man on Scifi!

Where have I been?

Life certainly doesn’t stop, does it?  I have missed my blog, yet I wasn’t such a great steward of it these past long years. I was sucked ...
