Hi All,
I'm sorry I haven't been able to read or blog. We lost our phone line/DSL on Thursday! Some moron was digging and cut wires down the street! Ekk! Let me tell you, I was amazed at how needy I was to our computer! I went thru withdrawals over the weekend! My Momma invited me to use their computer, but they still live in the ice age with dial up! ( Yeah, you heard me Patrick!) I do love my family! This will make my brother laugh!
So glad to be able to blog! Thank you to everyone who left such caring comments about our Uncle Louie! Bless you all! The viewing for Uncle Louie was incredible. Over 800 guests came to pay their respects for the most down to earth man I've known. Listening to the preacher talk about Uncle Louie made me proud that Louie was well loved and knew Jesus. I know now that Louie wouldn't have wanted his family and friends to see him worn down by cancer and chemo treatments. God took him home early so Louie wouldn't have to endure pain and sadness.
I'll have pictures for ya'll tomorrow!
Hugs my friends!

Sad news.....
John's Uncle Louie passed away yesterday. We had just found out he had cancer about three weeks ago. I am so depressed because I'm worrying about Aunt Willie. How can you go on, only realizing that you only have 3 more weeks to live? How can you not feel like you were sick? It makes me cry to think he probably just kept shrugging off any symptoms.
I will miss him. He was one of John's favorite uncles and our yearly trip to Tugaloo State Park for a cookout will dearly be missed now. I will be absent for a couple of days, so my blogging might be scarce.
Hug your loved ones today!

Time slips by....
Where does the time go? It doesn't seem like it's been a week since I last posted. What have I been doing?
Well, I've been stitching my Prairie Schooler exchange, I've been stitching on my Ornament exchange, plus trying to finish Edgar's Quaker to send to Carol. So I don't have any pictures to show you.
My son Jacob has been under the weather, he is tired and very fatigued. I'm making him a doctor's appointment tomorrow. I'm wondering if he is anemic? Don't know, but we had a cancer scare with him a couple of years ago with these same symptoms. So I'm not fooling around this time.
School is back to normal. We do have a 3 day weekend, so yeah for that, I've been cleaning up the house so that I can plan a stitching weekend for me!
For all of you up north, I hope you can stay warm! It is suppose to go down to 11 degrees tonight! Better leave the water dripping so the pipes won't freeze. It has been very cold down here in GA. Brrrr Rabbit!
Well, I'm off to go warm up by the fire!

Terry's Halloween RR
I've finished Terry's RR and will ship to Ulla tomorrow! Yeah! I need to finish up Edgar's Quaker and get his on to either Carol or Valerie. Busy, busy , busy!
Back to school hasn't been too bad, the kids seem to be very laid back at this time. Give them a week or two and then they will start winding themselves up. It's been raining the past 2 days so the kids are not getting to go outside for recess. That makes for rowdy lunches. haha
Hope to have more stitchy pictures to show tomorrow!

Look at what Jacob knitted!
I am amazed at my son! He knitted this sweet little guy! He is such a great kid! He knits faster than me I tell you. I bought him some circular needles and he has promised me he'd knit me a hat! I can't wait!
This is my last weekend off. Back to school on Monday. I'm not ready to go back. I spent a great deal of my vacation on pain meds. My PSa/RA has been worse, plus my back is my worst enemy right now. I had to waste 5 hours waiting at the hospital for xrays on my back and neck. Those chairs in the waiting room are horrible. They have upped my Enbrel shots to twice a week. I really feel that it's a waste, because I feel worse than better. Oh well, I'll see my doctor on the 19th of this month and we will see.
I will have pictures of stitching tomorrow! I'm finishing up my Halloween RR, just have to stitch a tiny bit more, it's over 1 thread, so I've been dreading the stitching on that part. I have to clip on magnifiers to my glasses! What a hoot that is!
I'm jealous that my hubby will be off this next week. But, he needs the rest. He has so much planned for his week off. I'd be like, plan nothing! Just rest! So we will see!
Hugs,

Happy New Years!

As I sit and pray while my two teenage boys are out and about on this New Year's Eve, I wish for everyone happiness, friendships to blossom, and love to overflow in your hearts!
We all live very busy lives and I hope to slow down and enjoy my family more in 2009. I have been blessed to meet many new friends thru the world of blogging and I thank each one who has taken the time to read or comment on my blog.
I was gonna stitch, but after two mimosa's, I'm very sleepy! I never was a good party girl!
Both my boys are spending their first New Years away from home and Momma is feeling alittle sad that they are growing up and branching out. I love you Jason and Jacob!
Happy New Years!

Hoping everyone had a Merry Christmas!
I'm wishing everyone a wonderful holiday. We all had a great Christmas here! Assorted pictures of our Christmas follows=John with his new tool, Jason with a Zune, Jacob with his new musical toy! What was I thinking? Electric guitar! I need to get him headphones! Jazzy with her new Disney Tinkerbell! (I did good on that one!) Elizabeth with Jazzy. Jackson, Bony, and Jason with his new necklace. The only person who didn't get in the pictures was me. I always forget and I'm so busy capturing everyone else's joy! It makes me very happy to see happy faces!
I'm very tired today, just gonna rest and order takeout for dinner tonight.
I need to hurry and finish my Halloween RR, it's due to travel on the 30th of this month! Gonna start tonight.
Well, I wish everyone a happy day and bless everyone I know!

Reindeer Exchange!
Lot what I received from Simone! She stitched me a reindeer in a flat fold stand up! Awesome job Simone! She also sent me some goodies for my stash! Thank you Simone!
I have been a bad blogger! I haven't blogged in over a week! Shame on me!
I have been busy, we had our winter concert with the symphonic band.It was last night. The group sounded wonderful. I would love for Jacob to be a professional musican in a orchestra, but I doubt that will happen. I can dream, can't I?
I've been busy stitching on Edgar's Quaker RR. It's coming along great. It's time to send on to Valerie. I have Rowyn's ready to ship.
I got Brutus groomed the other day, and with the weather turning colder, I needed to buy him a new little sweater. Look how cute his new jacket is... and he really loves wearing his snuggy's.
Well, I need to scoot, it's time to decorate the tree! I need to get my house ready. We are having our annual Christmas party this weekend!

Where have I been?
Life certainly doesn’t stop, does it? I have missed my blog, yet I wasn’t such a great steward of it these past long years. I was sucked ...

I do miss my hair, but I dig the sassy red wig! The Elmiron is pretty mean to the stomach, but I'd rather take that then to have to cat...

Just look at the bounty I received. A big thanks to Dee for all the wonderful Halloween goodies that I won. The pumpkin book is so cute! I...
