Working hard on RR!

Working as much as I can on Edgar's RR, waiting on a couple of threads to come in the mail to finish up. I want to be finished by next weekend. That's my goal. I just love Tanya's new freebie! I want to start that one tonight or tomorrow. Since I haven't passed my stone yet, I'm gonna miss the Ga Tech versus Samford football game this Saturday, so I plan to stitch and relax.

Did see the surgeon today, blah blah, the usual, ct scan with IVP contrast, that test is next Wednesday, they are hoping I can pass the stone by myself. No such luck yet. Keep fingers crossed for me.

My brother is doing well after his surgery on Wednesday. Poor guy though. I felt bad for him because I know how much that procedure can make you feel. They did put a stent in him, no driving for a couple of days. He was one wupped puppy in the recovery room. I love you bro! I know he reads my blog!

Well, off to stitch before my meds make me sleepy. Just so you know, kidney stones run in our family. So far, I make them, Patrick makes them and my son Jacob has made one. He was 11 when he passed his first stone. What a thing to look forward too! Our Grammama died of kidney failure so we all need to watch out. I promise to drink more water!

Hope Ga Tech wins! I hate missing that ball game.

Go Yellow Jackets!

ps: Jason playing WOW. He loves that game!

Nice progress on your RR!

My b/f gets kidney stones. He's had surgery once. When I was searching online a while ago to find something to help him, I came across a crazy remedy. You mix 2 tablespoons of lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and drink it down. He has done this twice and passed the stones within 48 hours. It tastes really bad, but we think it actually helped him!

Oh no! I hope you are not in too much pain. I cannot imagine how it must hurt. I will pray you do pass it on your own very soon. The RR is looking great!

Where have I been?

Life certainly doesn’t stop, does it?  I have missed my blog, yet I wasn’t such a great steward of it these past long years. I was sucked ...
