Boo boo trigger finger!

Well friends, I am plagued by that stupid trigger finger again! :( This is the 5Th time it has reared it ugly head. I need surgery, but I will beg again for the shot just to make it subside for now. I'll be out of commission for 6 weeks. How can I stand that? I can't. I won't! So I'm hoping for relief until the summer. Before the splint was put on, I was making both Jason and Jacob massage my hand to straighten out my middle finger. It is quite painful and Motrin 800 is not helping at all. Sigh..... The doc tells me, rest, don't use it, yada yada. So we will see how it goes this week at work. Thank goodness we are off tomorrow, one more day of rest for the hand.

Look at how Boo Boo Kitty fits in that little box. Why is it that they all try so hard to sleep in something tiny like that? I know it can't be comfortable, but he looks so cute in it! No stitchy pictures today. I'm trying to work on my Easter exchange, it taking me some time though. Oh well!
Hugs for the night!

So that's where you've been! I've been wondering about you. Acutally, I think Kristine has been wondering about you the most as she was here 5 days last week-4 nights and all day Saturday. I do wish your pain would go away. You'll be in my prayers and I hope to see you when you get better.

I fully sympathise with you Donna. I had trigger finger surgery on 3 fingers on my left hand in 1989 and on two fingers on my right hand last year. I may yet have to have further surgery on my index finger RH as the injection was not successful. I also had carpal tunnel surgery on my RH approx 3 years back. Surgery definitely works if you can put up with no stitching during recovery!

Where have I been?

Life certainly doesn’t stop, does it?  I have missed my blog, yet I wasn’t such a great steward of it these past long years. I was sucked ...
